Copper Fixtures Keep Gilmour Academy Athletes Healthy
CLEVELAND — In an effort to combat the spread of Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and other highly contagious bacteria, Cleveland’s Gilmour Academy has installed a number of copper fixtures in its ice arena.

The Council of Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI) announced that Daniel R. Mader, AIA, CEFP, LEED AP, has been named the new chair of the organization’s board of directors. An architect with more than 35 years of experience in educational facility design, Mader is the chairman of the board of Fanning/Howey Associates.
